It was an electrifying combination of science fiction and haute couture at the London premiere of “Dune: Part Two,” when Zendaya, the film’s star known for her role as Chani, made a showstopping entrance in Thierry Mugler’s metallic masterpiece from the archives.

The Emmy-winning actor arrived to the sand-covered red carpet in what can be described as a futuristic vision of medieval charm, showcasing a vintage Mugler ensemble from the Fall/Winter 1995 couture collection. The retro-futuristic suit of armor, with its chrome plating and sheer panels strategically placed on the arms, chest, back, and legs, redefined the ‘armored beauty’ aesthetic. 

Complementing the metallic marvel, Zendaya wore Mugler’s matching metallic stiletto platform heels and a shimmering diamond necklace with a prominent blue gemstone at its core.
