It definitely won’t be Milan Fashion Week without Prada — a brand that anyone within the fashion-sphere looks forward to every season. With Raf Simons as co-creative director together with Miuccia Prada, there’s even more of a reason to keep tabs on what the two powerhouses have in store.

There’s a strong leitmotif that has been developed for a few collections now since the addition of Simons into the fold, involving the mashing of two distinct visual codes, and bringing back rather obscure (to casual fans) Prada references. They’re of course constantly being flipped around and reinterpreted in unexpected ways.

This time around the Prada runway show will be done in two separate locations, both at the same time. Milan, Italy and Shanghai, China are set to play host to this landmark runway show — a first for the brand. While there are little details to how exactly that will look like, it’s bound to be a show (or shows) to remember.
