Best street style looks from Milan Fashion Week
The streets is where it's atIf London Fashion Week was already an indication of a fashion industry that’s eager to open up and move forward, Milan Fashion Week was one where the sense of positivity was palpable. The latter returned to almost full physical strength with a week-long celebration of all things new and exciting for the spring/summer 2022 womenswear season.
Runway shows with live audiences made a return with some brands making use of what they’ve learnt over the past year to good use. Prada presented its spring/summer 2022 womenswear collection simultaneously in Milan and Shanghai, while Moncler incorporated live and recorded videos for its first MONDOGENIUS presentation. And not to be outdone by the digital-infused shows, Versace and Fendi won big by revealing a cross-pollination of house codes with Fendace.
But as always, it was the streets that were brimming with energy and style. If there’s anything that we’ve realised with the international fashion weeks making their triumphant return, is that street style is just as impactful as what’s seen on the runways.
