Paris Fashion Week may be over, but Alexander McQueen is only getting ready for its spring/summer 2022 womenswear runway show — its official return to the live format. And while Paris has been its fashion week of choice for years before, the London-based brand is choosing instead to stage the show in its home base.

Similar to Kering-owned brands Gucci and Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen has also chosen to show out of the traditional fashion calendar. Its upcoming spring/summer 2022 show will coincide with the opening of London’s Freize Art Fair that often attracts gallerists and art collectors the world over.

Will we perhaps see a collection that takes reference from the art world?
