Disney Plus is celebrating their second year of existence by adding a whole bunch of titles to their existing repertoire — all whilst announcing new content to look forward to from Marvel, Star Wars, and more. This includes highly-anticipated sequels and prequels in the vein of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hocus Pocus 2, and Disenchanted; sneak-peeks and expansions of well-established universes slated to arrive in 2022.

On that end, we’ve done the legwork by sifting through various reports and previews to present the best of Disney Plus shows and films coming your way. Everything to know, below.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
Finally, some news about Obi-Wan and Darth Vader’s endless feud. The series will, naturally, be focused on legendary Jedi master Obi Wan-Kenobi, and will see both Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor reprising their roles. And while new footage hasn’t been released just yet, we did get several behind-the-scenes clips as well as concept art to obsess over for the next few months. Good enough.

X-Men ’97
That is, an animated telling of key stories circling the ’90s timeline of the original X-Men series.

She-Hulk
Emmy-Award winner Tatiana Maslany brings her acting chops to She-Hulk, where she portrays a lawyer that specialises in superhero-orientated legal cases. Expect appearances from Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and Tim Roth’s Abomination, to boot.

Under The Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett
Everyone’s favourite bounty hunter is getting a taste of the spotlight with a documentary special highlighting his origin story, costuming choices, and more.

Moon Knight
Oscar Isaac’s first foray into Marvel has him taking on the role of Moon Knight; a tortured vigilante who’s battling his inner demons alongside several Ancient Egyptian deities.

Ms. Marvel
A precocious 16-year-old’s life is turned upside down after she acquires superhuman abilities similar to the ones her long-term idol, Captain Marvel, harbours. Played by up-and-coming actress, Iman Vellani, this marks the first time that Disney has thrown a Pakistani-American hero into the mix.

Agatha: House of Harkness
Yup, the villain from WandaVision is getting her own spinoff. Rumours are rife that her arc will be largely focused on her time within a coven as teased in a flashback scene from WandaVision.

Spiderman: Freshman Year
A look at Peter Parker’s first year of high school, except told in animated form.

Echo
You’ll get a sneak peek of the deaf and Native-American superhero via the Hawkeye series that is dropping December 2021. Her storyline will be expanded upon in 2022.

Ironheart
Iron Man might have bitten the dust in the last Avengers instalment, but that’s not to say his story is fully over. Instead, his legacy lives on via RiRi Williams, a genius inventor who’s created a revolutionary new suit or armour.

Secret Invasion
Dynamic duo Nick Fury and Talos are working together once more — except this time, they’re dealing with a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls rather than Carol Danvers.

Marvel Zombies
Think of it as What If, but featuring your favourite characters fighting for their lives in a zombie apocalypse instead. Our money’s on Bucky Barnes, who could probably fend off a whole horde of the walking dead with his metal arm alone. How convenient. On that note…

What If (Season 2)
The show picks up after the defeat of Infinity Ultron, with The Watcher meeting new heroes all while venturing out into strange new worlds located within the multiverse.

I Am Groot
No, we all are. Jokes aside, everyone’s favourite sentient tree is getting its own series that documents his early days growing up.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Exactly as it says on the tin. Bonus: It’s being directed by James Gunn.

Willow
Based upon the 1988 movie of the same name, the plot centres around the same fantastical universe of elves, monsters, and more — but set years after the events of the OG Willow film. How intriguing.

Zootopia+
We’ll get to explore the stories of the other mammals and critters that made their debut within Zootopia in 2016. We’re talking Chief Bogo, Benjamin Clawhauser, and more.

Hocus Pocus 2
The Sanderson sisters are back. Get ready to indulge in some witchy fun come 2022.

Baymax!
The squishy, marshmallow-resembling robot will be getting up to more hilarious hijinks with a series focused on its latest adventures.

Disenchanted
No, okay, but what comes after happily ever after? Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey are attempting to answer this with the sequel to the live-action musical fantasy, Enchanted.
