Welcome to the new normal. That is, if you’re vaccinated. Now that dining out and heading to the gym is permissable, it’s safe to say that there’s plenty of exciting stuff coming up. To spice up your weekend, we’ve gathered some things that you can do both online or offline. This week, sign up for a virtual sports festival; shop for traditional fashion pieces; and more.

FUN | Halloween Horror Nights Exhibition

With October fast approaching, spooky szn has officially begun. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore will not be around this year to get your heart rates up. Not to worry, those who are missing the exhilarating haunted houses can head down to USS to witness the exhibition that details the behind-the-scenes of some Southeast Asian tales; meet and greets with mascots; snacks; and photo-ops with a few scare actors.

EXPERIENCE | Picnic In The Gardens

All good things have to come to an end. The Glass In Bloom exhibition at Gardens By The Bay is closing this weekend after many successful months. No need to despair, you can still catch the beautiful sculptures and enjoy an alfresco picnic experience right at the heart of The Meadow and soak in the vibes before it is whisked away. Simply book a picnic basket – containing two filled croissants, two slices of cakes, two cookies, and 2 drinks – and head down to the allocated spots.
