Valentino is readying its co-ed spring/summer 2022 runway show — its return to Paris after a couple of seasons showing in Milan due to the pandemic. Set to be revealed at Le Carreau du Temple in the third arrondissement, the show is one that Valentino is calling, ‘Valentino Rendez-vous’.

What we know so far (at least based on the press kit received) is that there’ll be some sort of an homage to Valentino’s past works. Included in the kit are a few mini-sized photo cards of archive photos, including a shot of the spring/summer 1971 haute couture collection (seen in the image above) as well as one from the spring/summer 1968 haute couture collection. Perhaps creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli will be interpreting and modernising them for ready-to-wear. But in any case, we’re certain that it’ll be a collection to look forward to.
